December Updates
It’s been an amazing month at Shipist! We’ve shattered some of our previous records in terms of number of packages and number of visits. You all have been amazing, thank you!
A few things have updated this last month. Here they are:
Packing Services
Pricing and policies have been updated for our packing services beta. Though our core service is offering DIY pack stations, many of your have started using our packing services some or all of the time. Originally, pricing was based on how big the final box ended up being. However, some items take quite a bit longer to pack well than others (thinking here of all the extra packing that goes into keeping a painting safe). There is now a base rate and an additional time based rate for any boxes that take longer than 15 minutes to pack. See the pricing and terms for full details.
After Hours Is Nearly Here
M-F from 9-5 doesn’t work for everyone. We plan to soon offer after hours access. During normal business hours, staff will be on hand to help you. After hours, members will be able to use the pack stations and software by using a code to open the door. We’ll have secure lockers for you to leave your finished orders or to leave goods that you want us to pack. Stay tuned for updates!
Other Stuff
We now have a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Feel free to use any of these while you’re in!
We now support international shipping for small packages that can go FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
Some new tools, box sizes, and LED lights are now available at the pack stations.
