What’s it cost to ship a painting?
Let’s say you are shipping a 24” x 36” painting. We have a perfect box that will fit around it for $19. Shipping FedEx to a house in NC from our shop in CO would be $50. You can pack it up yourself, or we’ll do it for you for ~$40.
That’s $109 Total
Compare that to $99.99 for a box and packing plus $80.33 for shipping when you go into a FedEx Store. That’s really expensive 🤑

How It Works
Pack Your Paintings
Pack up your art at our self service pack stations. Bring as many pieces as you want, no matter the sizes. We have a huge variety of boxes and packaging to make packing easy and make your art safe and secure. If you don’t have time to pack (or hate packing 🤬), we can do it for you!
Ship Your Art
Ship your paintings or other art from our Littleton, CO location. Have some small items to ship postal and some big stuff to ship FedEx or UPS? No problem, we ship all three, so you can just leave them at our shop when you’re done.
Store Your Art
If you have more finished pieces than you have room for, you can store them with us! Just schedule a time to come in and we’ll have the art ready for you at our pack stations. Or, just let us know once they sell and we’ll pack and ship them for you.
Denver artist Abbey Ratcliff ships her large abstract pieces through Shipist. We brought in new sizes of boxes to accommodate Abbey’s work. “They were so flexible!”

Pricing is a la carte. Use whichever of the services make sense for you and skip the ones that don’t.
Pricing = Shipping + The Box + Packing Service
Shipping costs vary by size and where it’s shipping to. But, it will be way less than going to the UPS or FedEx store.
We have a bunch of different boxes on hand to get your paintings delivered safe and sound. Packaging prices displayed include sales tax and unlimited cushioning. If you bring in your own box, you can save on this.
We can pack up your art for you and handle shipping if you want it to be totally hands off.
Out of room to keep paintings in your house? We can store them until they are ready to ship.
